I have the same motherboard in a machine in my office. If I ever get 2 cpus working in it, I'll cram the disk from april.dementia.org (aka www/ftp.dementia.org) into it and obsolete one more uniprocessor ppro system.

Why a dual processor web server? The web server has no content locally, it's all in AFS and it just runs a web server, an ftpd, and an AFS client. The advantage is considerable: when the last web server developed a problem I configured this machine, updated DNS, and then 3 days later bothered to go and find out why the other machine was unhappy. SMP is just an excuse to abuse the SMP OpenAFS Linux client some more.
