Most of that crap can be found by opening regedit and going to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
MICROSOFT
WINDOWS
CURRENT VERSION
RUN

And when I just checked there was a link to quicktime that I didn't see before. A lot of stuff that loads itself without your knowing are executed from there on startup. Granted this is just where the apps get launched....
