I'd be interested in seeing the exact error, if you can take it down the next time you see it. It's clearly a device driver issues (hence the BSOD). If you can't boot into "safe mode" then your options are really limited, but perhaps there's something you can do in CMOS (like disabeling an interrupt). However, I'm shooting in the dark here so don't do anything like that unless you get some good advice from a hardware guy.
