Pah. That's nothing. Try having a girlfriend in Birmingham when you live in Zürich and you fly over so often that the only affordable way of doing it is to fly SleazyJet into Luton, then hire a car and drive to Brum. Total journey time, door to door is about six hours. More if LazyJet are late (which, in my experience, nine times out of ten they are).

Ho hum. Still, a long weekend coming up and a 'proper' flight with a 'proper' airline into Brum - then we've just got to drive up to Durham. Thank God I'm only here for another 167 days.
