Ah! Thanks Rob. eTiVo looks very interesting. I have a Series 1 TiVo with cachecard that's already been hacked. I'm not currently using it because of the Series 3 upgrade. It's got a year of service left since I moved the lifetime service to my Series 3. Perhaps I can just install that and hang it off my cable connection for him.
