$3/l?! I thought it was 2-3 DEM (German marks, almost second national currency here in Croatia

, or a dollar and some change) per liter all over the Europe.... Anyway, with the new tax intended for financing road construction we have reached 2 DEM for 98 octane, and we almost had riots. Slovenia is some 20% cheaper, and Austria and Hungary are in the ballpark. How comes it is so expensive there (The Netherlands, right)?
