It IS possible to repair a broken handle, although the end result is not pretty, at least not the way I did it.

I am assuming that the handle broke somewhere along the long bottom part. Find a piece of tubing that will fit snugly over the handle, fill it full of epoxy and slide it over the broken ends so that it bridges the break.

The handle will no longer fit flush against the face of the empeg like it did before, but in a pinch it will restore functionality. Tell your friends that you did it that way to make it easier to grab the handle when you remove the empeg from the dash.
