What irks me more is that, even with all of this plug connector technology, they're still making USB plug standards which have polarized connectors. They could so easily have designed it so that it didn't matter which direction you connected it. Yet, here we are well into the 21st century, and I'm still having trouble seeing which way to plug the damn things into the back of my computer without a flashlight.
