I'm not sure I appreciate what you implied about my integrity either. To be perfectly clear: I would never try to steal or keep property of another person without exhausting every known option to find the owner, nor would I condone others doing so. Upon re-reading my post above, that may not have been as clear as I intended.

Although, it does bring up the question - what is the moral thing to do if you exhaust all options to find the owner? Destroy it?
