wfaulk: Okay, maybe it's just me, but aren't computer cases supposed to block RF emissions by being Faraday cages? And isn't having a big plexiglas hole in the side (or being completely transparent) kinda going to defeat that purpose?


It's not just you. Also, to the extent that manufacturers tout the marginal heat dissipation benefits of an aluminum case, replacing a big chunk of it with Lexan doesn't seem like an improvement.

'Course, one of the other supposed benefits of the alu case is lighter weight to tote to LAN parties. Once you get there, how are you supposed to show off your mobo without that Lexan and neon???
