I have one word for that survey:

DUH.

And for their next survey, they'll ask consumers if they'd like to pay one cent per gallon for gas.

I'm a simple man ( users of this site will have gathered that) on the one occasion I encountered a CD that wouldn't copy, I stuck a CD player on the audio in, just as I would a cassette deck or turntable, and copied it back in to the PC.

If I've bought any format, as far as I'm concerned, I've bought its copyright for my personal use: Whether that be Empeg, portable, whatever.

I'll go along with the recording industry, the day they offer me a substantial rebate for all the copyright I've bought in LP's, Pre-recorded cassettes and, dare I say it, 8 tracks, which I've subsequently replaced with CD's of the same titles!
