I used to go to songmeanings.net for all my lyrical needs. but they have been down for quite a bit with no relief in site. I was wondering where everyone else searches for song lyrics.

I just do a google search for the the artist, song title and 'lyrics'. Most of the places I've seen don't have a complete listing of all the lyrics I've searched for, so googling each time seems to be better (for me).

I usually wade through the popups at the Ultimate Band List and find a good fan site. Just remember that most of the lyrics on the internet won't be official, but just some guy who's listened to a song over and over and written down what he thinks it is.

that's my problem now. on songmeanings.net it was user supported, once you became a memeber you could post lyrics if they weren't available. it seemed to have a pretty loyal following kind of like another BBS i go to. i found lyrics for local bands in milwaukee that i had liked and some other pretty obscure stuff.
