No. Nochex from what I just read does not allow debit cards from outside the UK. Sorry.

The only online accounts I have anyway are NetBank and Paypal.

I just ordered my first lens! The neon green! question though: The lens does not REQUIRE the usage of a gel in addition right? I can just use the lens by itself (with no gel behind it) I am assuming this is true, and the gel only alters the neon green?

Correct.

The gels are usually only sold with a Smoke or Clear lens. Using them with the Colored Lenses would produce unpredictable colors.

I been putting this off forever but I'm up for a light blue and a darker blue (doesn't have to be neon).

How easy is it to apply these gels to a lens we already have?

Very. The Gel sits behind the lens, and is easily affixed to it with a couple of pieces of sticky tape wrapped around the tabs that protrude near the top. The tape isn't strictly necessary, but does have 2 benefits - firstly the gel is kept taut against the lens, eliminating optical errors that might otherwise arise, and secondly, it would otherwise be a PITA to keep the gel aligned with the lens whilst you put the fascia screws in.

OK cool.. I've been thinking about getting one of them.. but I'm having a hard time choosing which color to get. It seems on the site there is something wrong with the colors or something.. like the one that says Light Pink doesn't even look pink at all.. it looks like an aqua type color. So I'm not exactly sure the color next to the name is what I'm looking at.

The colors listed on the site are the colors as produced and labelled by the gel manufacturer. The gels intended use is for stage lighting, with high luminosity 'white' lights. The effect that they have on the empegs display will be different due to the fact that the empeg's VFD is green-blue and significantly dimmer to start with. (The pink gel really is pink, but doesn't have much effect on the empeg)

Go by what your eyes tell you, and not by the labels.

I know this isn't the right thread but I noticed that the MKl lens set says backordered now. Does that mean that you will be making more for those of us that want one but need to wait until next month?

No, not really. Not like the fluorescent ones do.

The neons are neon because the plastic has flourescent material embedded in it.

But he doesn't advertise them as "fluorescent" lenses, so you're probably going to confuse people.

Really? Damn, I just bought some, I was under the impression that they have that effect. Looking at the pictures now I guess it is clear they do not. Bummer.

I will only make enough lenses to complete the amount of the lenses I have the most color of.
Which mean where will only be 7 sets left.

3 sets have already been bought that's why there is only 7 now.
