For the record, no you don't, and the only thing I hate worse than my picture is the sound of my voice on a recorder. I wish I sounded like I think I sound, rather than how I really sound. Does that sound right?

This is a somewhat boring pic of me taken by my web cam one day while explaining to a lady friend what kind of music dominates my collection (currently) Yawn

Wait until you're paying to replace cameras...

Been there, done that. Still a few smashed bits of it on the rocks along the water from this summer.

We went to Kings Dominion in Virginia

Wow....I haven't been there since '87 when my family spent a year in Richmond. They've added a few rides since then, I'll have to find an excuse to check them out sometime soon.

Hey! That Kings Dominion is right near me. I pass it every time I go from school<->home. I didn't know you lived in VA, too. Whereabouts?

Personally, I prefer Busch Gardens, especially since it is about 10 miles away from where I live

Well, everyone else is doing it, so I guess I should.

I don't what to say about this picture, other than the fact that I found it in Mac OS X as one of the pictures you can select for user accounts. For some reason, it's not included in later versions.

As far as the user name goes, it's short for A. David Wright, which was my name until several years ago, when I gave up on getting people to call me by my middle name, and went back to my first name.

Maybe the orangutan wanted royalties for the use of his picture.

Okay. Time for an update. Getting rid of my old "ID Badge" photo, and putting up something mellower. This was drawn by Chris Rywalt, one of the folks I knew at college. I was in one of his Campuside comics. *

* I mention this to give him credit for the drawing that I shamelessly "borrowed" for this purpose...

This is a picture of me in my fedora. My wife and I were running around in Charleston and wandered into a garden courtyard. She only let's me wear the fedora when we're out of town.

Dignan17,

The Reverend beat me to it...I live down in Hartsville, SC. My brother (also an empeg owner) lives in Mechanicsville. It's a good meeting place as my sis and her husband live near Baltimore. I've been to KD probably 10 times since I moved out from Cali in '90. It has gotten significantly better as far as rides go. You should check it out again.

I went to Busch Gardens this year as well (March). I enjoyed it quite a bit. The themed areas are much cooler and the shops and food are better. The coasters that they have are good too. Kings Dominion is up to like 10 coasters now, including 3 of those high-speed launch rides . It's definitely worth another trip when you get the time.

Me swimming in 7000 feet of water about 650 NM from the coast of Hawaii.
Yes the water really is that blue.

Heres the full size.

Sod it - I'll join in.

This was taken outside our hotel in Les Menuires a couple of weeks ago, before yet another day of cold, blind, skiing.

On the other hand, neither you nor I want to see my fat ass every time you look at this BBS, so I'll refrain from changing.

Hmmm. I don't remember mentioning it before, and a quick search doesn't reveal anything, so I'm not sure what you're thinking of.
