Well, I'm at work - but I'd much rather be drinking a Guinness! Or a Heineken Dark, or a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, or a Saporro, or... or... or...

I'm sitting in an InstallShield training course, and while I don't drink (edit: much), I'd rather not be here.

Woo! Sprecher!
[singing]
On Wisconsin, On Wisconsin
[/singing]
One of my favorite beers comes from Wisconsin. They also used to make this one beer that was incredible if you could find it on tap. It was a real dark beer and when they drafted it from the tap it passed through a nitrogen infuser spout. The bartender would hand you this tall glass of nothing but foam. After about a minute or two, the foam would settle into beer and leave you with a perfect 1.5" head. Delicious! Too bad it only lasted a few years.
Can you tell I grew up there and have a soft spot for anything Wisconsin?

After work, I have a hockey game to go too. Definately calls for a Canadien beer (or several).

I'm not, I'm drinking a pretty nice Cabernet-Sauvignon by Chenet, which is immensely pretentious...
... but also massively cheap and gets me pissed, the cost being the important factor in this case. Sod the taste! Ha ha ha haaaa haa ha ha ha

Damn, you posted just too late for our Presidents Day Pub Crawl, otherwise we could have listed quite a comprehensive collection of beers. Toasting a president at each pub, we made it as far as Abe Lincoln

Unless there was a reference involved, I think you made it much further than most Americans would have, even if they weren't drinking.

We were quite dissappointed that we only managed sixteen out of the twenty planned pubs. I think the problem was having more than one drink in some of them. Learned a lot about American presidents though.

No beer I'm afraid, just finished a safe, but tasty Jacob's Creek Shiraz Cabernet 2000. I'm so glad I'm the age I am, imagine trying to find a decent wine in the local petrol station ten years ago...
If it was a great beer it would have been a really good pint of Guinness, or a good real ale. The best beer I have had recently was a good few pints of Ringwood Best down in Dorset.

I wouldn't recommend their Fortyniner though, unless you are on a mission, it's a bit too Old Peculiar http://www.theakstons.co.uk/beer/old_peculier/index.html for my liking...

I'm drinking the Pale Ale that I just finished brewing at home with Mr. Beer . Not too bad really, a bit fruity for my taste though.
When I'm not drinking that I love Beck's Dark or Rapscallion .
The cartoon Rapscallion girl on the above web page is modeled after my girlfriend. <--- No Joke!!
Edit: Of course my girlfriend has hair and doesn't have horns

8:18 PM in Minneapolis, MN. 12oz of Lake Superior - Mesabi Red. Damned fine! Although I got it since they were out of my favorite. They stopped carrying it: Flying Dog - Doggy Style. Yeah, gimmicky name, but the best ESB I've ever had, and I'm a hop-head.
