I can drive for 200 or so miles in about any direction and not hit my state border. Well, I was planning on driving up from Zürich for this meeting. It's about 800 miles and I'd be passing through a large chunk of Germany before I'd get to Holland. Luckily a prior engagement has stopped me spending the whole of the Saturday driving up and the whole of the Sunday returning! Can't we have something more in the middle of Europe? Funnily enough (coincidences do abound when they're conveniant, don't they) Zürich is pretty central .
