Now that I've done it once, I am not so concerned about adding a larger drive as I am approaching 55Gb of 55.7 available. So thanks to you all. Actually to everyone on this board while I'm at it. I have never found a board quite like this one....None can even compare. Everyone is so helpful and insightful compared to the flame wars that get started in practically every other post on the other boards I frequent.

Congratulations to v3a3 and toby for almost causing a few accidents yesterday driving home from work. I just found out about the new visual LogDiff or something like that (cant check, its doing a fresh resync from jemplode). its really visually appealing, but trying to figure out why it does what the pattern to it made me relive the era when i first got my empeg (reading braille, near misses, drunk driving canidate).

OK, I decided to downgrade back to 2.00 after having my fun with the 3.0 alpha. The only problem is, after I did the downgrade, my entire playlist is gone! It says I have 0 songs. Now, I read the disclaimer, and I don't blame anyone but myself for being seduced by the crossfade feature. Anyhoo, in emplode, it says, "50GB, 22GB free" or something to that effect. So, it stil has the songs on there, but no playlists. Any way to fix this? If I just copy in the songs again, would it write over the old ones, or try to only use the 22GB remaining? Or should I just go the route of opening the thing up and reformatting the drives??? Thanks...

If you open the player database with Jemplode is your playlist under the "unattached items" tab?
