Hi All,
Tech TV did 2 interviews with me regarding the Segway (I bought one about a month ago). The first was regarding the recall that Segway LLC announced, and that one aired on Tech Live a week ago. The 2nd was with a guy here in the Bay area that made his own homemade Segway. That one aired yesterday on Tech Live. Well Tech TV sold the segment to CNN and it's going to be on between 3 and 4 today. I'm the guy wearing the blue hat...
For what it's worth... Sorry, there was no opportunity to pitch my other favorite gadget... :-)

For what it's worth... Sorry, there was no opportunity to pitch my other favorite gadget... :-) I'm sure they'll want to do a followup when you mount your empeg in your Segway, though. I suspect tanstaafl can give you some pointers. (And I can't believe you haven't done it, yet!  )

I didn't mange to record it, I didn't read the post unill about 3:45 yesterday. Did anyone with a replay (or, I suppose, a properly equiped&hacked tivo) manage to get it? Is there any chance of them rerunning it?

Excellent! Great clips, thanks for showing them. They make me wish I had TechTV down here so I could get the "latest tech news"
But what I really wish is that I lived and moved about in an area that called for something like the Segway. I don't want to live in the city, though, so I don't see where I would use it. I'm still insanely jealous, though

Just watched those segments, Jon. You looked great! You're a good ambassador for the company.
Didn't realize you'd done the "track day" with the homemade-segway guy. Looks like it was a fun get together.
