Well, I've got a big trip planned for tomorrow and I was going to impress my friend with my empeg. Not thinking that the empeg would be impressive enough I installed Palantir on my palm and was in the middle of trying to install empire on the empeg when i screwed up. Not really sure what I did, but my player is messed up. When trying to reboot the player it gets stuck on the "Starting audio..." part. Is there a way I can get back to square one, and reload all of my mp3 files and leave the Palantir upgrade to another day?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm currently looking through the FAQ but thought I would put this out as another chance at help. All of my cd's are packed away and I can't bare to listen to the radio all day tomorrow.

Did you copy any part of the boot log to determine where the problem actually was?

Just an FYI, .bmp files are not generally acceptable as internet graphics files, as not all browsers can display them. Convert it to GIF, JPG or PNG for better results.

Not to mention they're normally massive as they're uncompressed or at most RLE compressed.
