Time to show your girl, why the hell you spend so much money for this crazy toy. Take her to Amersfoort!

Your escort is complete, for sure, but will be a little slow this year, if i get my audio-system ready in the smart.

cheers, Thomas

I just point out (Cris, Andy and anyone else from Northern England) that I've finished booking a week in Holland, using trains & planes and ending at the meet, and it looks like a third cheaper than the package using the Hull - Rotterdam ferry, last year.
Nice ferry though, like a mini cruise, did I have a hangover leaving the ship, both ways.

But the auto-park feature seems to be spanning two (out of the five?) spaces at Empeg Towers! Must've been a Sunday.

Yeah, that's after how close he came to tonking it into the corner of Empeg Towers as it came off the low-loader. I suspect he felt he needed to amortise the cost of buying it over more than four seconds of actual use...

No, it's a Noble M12 GTO3. See this Channel 4 review or this page on the TopGear website.

Edit: Or see boxer's link to the manufacturer. Damn this heavily contended DSL connection!

Don't be silly, he needs something to drive while the Noble is being serviced.

And congrats on the new car, Hugo.

So how is it that Hugo gets a shiny new toy, but Rob is rebuilding the engine on his Supra?

To be fair Hugo has also started modifying his MX5 although I'm not convinced he's actually doing any of the work himself!

I'm really going to try and make it this year. Airfare seems quite expensive, as around $1300 for me round trip. But, with the stock price of my company climbing quite a bit, my employee options should be pretty nice around May.

Oh blimey!! What have I done!

Working on:

- sponsorship, from an airline that might mean fares reduction
- sponsorship from the brewery (I don't have to tell you what that means)
- the hotel (Looks like we will be getting the rooms even cheaper than last year)

Good to see so many people are interested: I am astonished that people Are re-arranging their summer schedules to fit around this!

I was planning on keeping this mainly the same formula: however, since a fair number of people are coming for the 4th or 5th time, I am bothered it might be a bit "samey". Have a think and let me know what your opinion is.

Keep up the enthusiasm!!

You’ve obviously not yet fully appreciated what a great event organiser, you are!
I am bothered it might be a bit "samey"

I can’t speak for everybody, but the sameness to last year’s event is what I’m coming for. We've built the boxette up with our glowing impressions of last year. I've seen her studying the group photo, but I'm not sure who it is she fancies!

It'll be my 5th, but you just can't go wrong with beer and ribs. It's also great to see people again, and meet new people each year.

WHOAH! Nice boot logo!

If I was being picky I'd note that it's a M12 GTO and not a M12 GTO 3R in the animation, but it's still bleedin' impressive.

Now, about getting it in hijack format....

Anyone want to commit the faux pas of FAQ'ing Hugo on how to upload boot animations with Jemplode?

Oops, I just did...

Ah, you see I've not used jemplode much... come to think of it, the music on my player is in drastic need of an update. Time to fetch it from the car, I think...

Given the first piece of advice I always see anytime a player gets stolen, doesn't this seem a tiny bit amusing and ironic?
