He's being modest and isn't posting this, but look at what he came up with! If you have a server that runs PHP and SQL, you set up a database, upload his 3 files along with a cvs export of your empeg database and you have a searchable, browseable view of your empeg! This is perfect for me DJing for people to make requests!

Okay, here it is...

1: tman is in NO way supporting this. This is just something he tossed together that I'm really geeked about and that he doesn't mind me posting. But please don't PM him for documentation or help on this...

2: You will need a web host that supports PHP and SQL. How you edit the config.php file depends on your server.

3: Here's how to get it going:

Extract the zip file into a new directory on your webserver.

You'll need to edit config.php to suit your database settings.

Once you've done that, upload your CSV file to the same directory and call it playlist.csv

Go to http://www.blahblah.com/thatdirectory/import.html and wait...

It should print out how many it's imported and some errors if you've got any "s in names

That's about it. Go to http://www.blahblah.com/thatdirectory/ to look at it

4: Your results may vary.. but I had to rename index.html and import.html to have the extentions .php for my server to recognize them.
