You know the song 'The Cat Came Back' (here) Well I remember an animation that went with it from around 1992. I saw it on UK TV a couple of times. It may have featured in an advert (or it may even have been the advert. (Maybe for Quavers or Hoolalhoops). Can anyone else remember it? Does anyone have a copy of the animation? A long shot I know!

I remember seeing that animation as part of an animation festival (popular in the late 80's / early 90's). A little digging at Amazon found this, which seems to include what you're looking for.

Ahhh... thanks. I've found a copy online (not the whole DVD, just that one clip).

Cheers!

Yeah, um, Phil, your concept of a "Long Shot" clearly needs to be readjusted when dealing with this BBS.

Collectively, we are gods.

I saw the cat came back on the cartoon network show called Oh Cananda a long time ago.

I remember having this one as well as one called black flies they showed stuck in my head for a long time.

My girlfriend has The World's Greatest Animation DVD. I can rip a copy if you want.

Also, "The Cat Came Back" is on this DVD for cheap here.
