Anna here. I have been here before and was going to mail the board but I dedcided that maybe I didn't fit. It looked too dark here and it seems like everybody else is old men. Probably smelly old men mostly. So I don't know what you did but now it is much more cheery. Good move so maybe you will get more girls. I am looking to get music to go along riding with my pony. I don't really have a pony yet but I am going to have a pony real soon. Dancer. I love to hear myself say it. My Pony Dancer!
So I think the new board is perfect. But I might change a couple things to pink. Girl pink you know!! How do I change colors?
Hi!

My Stuff -> My Preferences -> Your Preferred Stylesheet "ubbthreads-dark" is close-ish to the old board. I'm working on a replacement stylesheet now.

Not at all! Tell us, Anna- how did you find this place? What kind of music player do you have?

I was right and betyou and mister Robot are teasing me. I have a IPod my uncle gave me but it is stuck on a Jon Mayer song and it just blinks when I change it.

IPods will do that sometimes. It is OK if you like that song. There was one guy on the Sarah Silverman Show who only had one song on his iPod. It was by the Spin Doctors. It was a really good song.
Do you see more than one song when you plug your iPod into iTunes on your computer?

With this thread... I'm wondering who is having who on. Does it ever really matter? Meanwhile, the smilies available on the new board (hmmm- and the old one, too) leave much to be desired. Very low on the upgrade list, though.

Awww, dang it! Why am I always the last one to post in a thread before it dies of stagnation?

Why am I always the last one to post in a thread I think we'll see Polly Anna again. I, for one, would like to see the install pictures once she gets her pony equipped with an iPod. I'm curious to see a saddle with a little holster for the iPod. And a girl whiling away a beautiful late summer afternoon, prancing her pony across a sun-dappled flower-filled meadow, the lovely strains of John Mayer lilting through the air. music (and on the Sarah Silverman side of things... "And if you'd like to tell me maybe (just go ahead, now).")

Not all of us are smelly old men, some of us are old women! What breed of pony do you want? I had an Appaloosa for a few years, I miss that horse.

Contemplating a switch from a working Rio Karma to an Apple iPod? Depending on how much of the Karma-specific features you've grown accustomed to, you could find yourself seriously disappointed in what the iPod has to offer.

Unc and Mum say be careful because not everybody named Laura on the net is really a girl. True. And sometimes people pretending to be girls are really smelly old men. Aren't they. P.S. Did you mean that your Mom is a Klingon? P.P.S. I'm pretty sure Laura really is a girl. I've never met her, but some other people here have.

Yes, I'm really a girl.
Hi Polly, I hope you get your pony. I also wanted one growing up but never got one. I did buy one when I was 11 but my mom made me get my money back, it was a dappled Shetland named Buttercup that I paid $50 for. I did get to see one born once, that was incredible to watch.

My uncle owns a ranch in Killean, Texas. He 'gave' me a horse when I was a kid. I've only got to see him three times, though.
As far as I can tell, owning a horse isn't all its cracked up to be. Of course, they are fun when you are done shoveling the crap and feeding them, but that is usually 80% of the time I get to spend with the horse.

I learned to hate Shetland ponies when I was a kid. My house was out in the fields, which were usually populated by cows as the next farm along was a dairy farm, but once a year the farmer would, for some reason, plonk a stack of Shelties in there with the cows. And the evil little buggers would round up the cows and stampede them through our barbed wire fence into the garden, and then through a dry stone wall out onto the road.
But then I wasn't a fan of horses anyway - the girls used to tether their ponies in the bike sheds during school and we couldn't go and get our bikes without getting bitten, stepped on, shat on etc
