I think it was clobbered by a system restore. It expressed as an icon on the toolbar, three RGB colored dots that revolved around each other.

So does anyone here know which extension that was?

Strange that the key UI visual element is missing from those links.

The 3 colour blobs is in the favicon but thats it for the site.

Yeah, it seems that they have updated their software's user interface, and have wiped their web site of any trace of it. They seem to have missed the favicon.

I noticed it because of that, too. I had remembered using the software in the past, remembered the three-dots-icon, associated that icon the name "download helper", then was surprised to find that downloadhelper.net didn't show the three-dots-icon anywhere. I was going to give up but then I saw the three dots on the tab as I was closing it.

I wonder why they changed it? Perhaps someone else already used the three dots in their trademarked logo and sent them a Cease and Desist.

Edit: No, they didn't change it, it's still there elsewhere on the site and in the little flash movie on the main page. They should put a picture of the icon on their main page, though.

There is one other add-on that uses a similar RGB icon. I don't think it is animated.

It previews a web page as it would appear to those with various forms of color blindness.
