Please be on the lookout for RioCar unit 30102741. This is a stolen 10GB unit that belongs to me. It has many custom modifications including illuminated green buttons so is fairly distinctive. I very much doubt the dirtbags that took it have any idea what it is and I very much doubt it will ever see the light of day again.

I am very unlikely to ever come across it, living in a different hemisphere as I do, but I wanted to take the time to offer my sincere and heartfelt commiserations. I have a car that I love dearly and I foolishly let some companies flatter me into letting them show it on their stands at a car show or two. As a result it ended up on someone's steal-to-order list and I have subsequently endured several concerted attempts to nick it. It basically lives locked up now, and the joy of owning it has been taken from me.

I was most struck by how little people seem to care when someone violates your space and takes or tries to take from you something that is unique and special to you.

To that end, I just wanted to say I think it sucks. I sincerely hope you catch the thieving bastards.

i once got a scooter stolen while i was a sleep. the scooter was parked less than 10 meter from the bed, only a door between me an the open air

i can only say one thing: string them up by their balls in a piano wire and let them fall down by themselves

Thanks for the comments. I am moving through the Kübler-Ross stages (of denial) and have started looking to see if the Cambridge rule (that one has to wait 10 years for a Cambridge innovation to be reborn elsewhere and make it) is true for the Empeg. Yes, I've actually started looking to see if there is a car pc on the market today that will fulfil my needs.
