What would be nice if other share that wish: If you are on loud volume settings, like -0 dB, it takes ages to turn the volume down to a low level. Would it be possible to change the behaviour, so the longer one presses the volume up/down, the faster it changes ? First slow, like now, than faster, like a 'logarithmic'behaviour. You know what i mean ? Any ideas ? Very unimportant, though....

Thanks, Jo

Do you mean something like a "Keyboard repeat", where if you hold down a key for a second it operates once, then after a delay starts to repeat at a pre-set rate?

No, that is, like it is right NOW, what he means ( i hope so ) is:
The repeat rate accelerates, so for example:
The first second the volume de/increase is repeated, it gets 5 dB de/increased, if you still hold the button, the second second it gets de/increased 10 more dB, then 15 per second and so on ...

Yes, this feature would be great!!!

Especially useful when switching from tuner to mp3. On my unit the tuner is much quiter than the mp3 players, so if you have the radio at a nice level you get blasted switching back to mp3.

The radio should be boosted to the same volume - this was in pre-beta1 versions but vanished for some reason. It'll go back in (hopefully) in the next release.

Altman,

Having an input offset that adjusts the relative output of the line-in vs the empeg would be very welcome.
Could you, at the same time, put in a decelerated (mute) function?

My home pre-amplifier provides for a user define mute function that quickly reduces the output level by a pre-defined amount (1-60 dB); factory setting is -20 dB, but can be changed by the owner.

Whenever mute is pressed, the mute-offset is applied. Pressing it again (without adjusting the volume in the mean time) restores the original output level. Any volume adjustment (accelerated or linear) kills the latter feature and applies the mute offset on the newly set level.
Would be nice to have, especially if triggered by an incoming phone call (via serila connect??)
