I am running 2.11b. I have set the time on the empeg, and when in the player mode the time is correct, but if I choose the tuner as the source, the time is about 15 minutes off. Is there a different clock on the radio, and if so how do I adjust it?

The clock that appears in the "Info:Radio" screen is the RDS clock from the radio station.

You have two choices: Call the radio station and tell them to set their clock, or change to a different screen other than "Info:Radio" so you can see the player's clock instead of the radio station's clock.

The radio may be picking up a clock signal from your radio station. Does the radio display have an "RDS" indicator on it? If so, the only fix right now is to call the radio station and see if they will correct it. I believe it was said that future versions of the software will have the ability to just ignore the signal, since so many radio stations have unsyncronized clocks.

Thanks guys - I appreciate the help - makes sense, although its a little hard to believe the radio station (the local NPR station in Boston) isn't syncing their clock. They are so anal about everything else... RDS is not a much integrated protocol over here is it? Sounds like such a great idea. Too bad. Anyway - thanks for the help.

Do tell your radio station their clock is wrong. Chances are, they aren't even aware that they're broadcasting an incorrect time signal. If they are, they might assume that nobody has an RDS clock if they don't get any complaints.
