(I got my A310 in November 87)

Blimey - I must be getting old too. That was when my school got its first Archimedes (complete with Arthur). I was 16. Wasn't until I was 19 that I got my A410/something (upgraded to hell) and my uncle kindly gave me one of his ARM3 upgrades. I think the machine's still sitting under my bed at home (along with a BBC model B), and it's not been used for 6 or 7 years. Oh well.

I must be a newcomer to this acorn lark then... =)
I got my A5000 in 92 or so, as my programming course used them.. (I wrote a Quantum energy simulator, yeah... =)
Since then I upgraded to a Risc PC (Using it right now... =) Running an overclocked Strongarm (to 233) and a 5x86 133...
Makes me laugh when I think that the empeg is much faster... =)
(Anyone who is interested, check out the castle kinetic RiscPC upgrades... They've fixed the slow memory bus problems by sticking sdram on board... =)
