i like the idea of audible.com but dont want to buy books becuse the only logical way i can find that i coudl get them ontot he empeg would be to first burn them onto cd, then from cd rip them to mp3. anyone know a quicker ot easier way to handle the audible.com files?

So a related question, anybody know of a place that sells audio books in MP3 format so I can actually listen to them without going to so much trouble as to make the whole affair not worth my time?

I'd suggest buying books on cd and rip them yourself. It's not much, if any, cheaper to buy them online, anyway. It mostly just saves you a little time. Until you realize that you have to play the entire 8 hour audio book in order to get it somewhere you actually want to use it.
