thinfourth2 Pooh-Bah Registered: 13/04/2001 Posts: 1742 Loc: The land of the pale blue peop...	okay i have just got my hands on a nice new BMW 325TDS the problem is i want an idiot guide for the engine and apprently it isn't in the bently manual and haynes ain't worth it. How different could it be from the diesel engines you work on in your ships? Okay quicky on the last engine i sailed with. 26,000Bhp max torque around 230Tons/metre weight 650 tons dry and about 3 stories high. Back to the BMW while doing the empeg install i discover the thing doesn't have a bloody throttle cable it is fly by wire on a 1994 car but it gets 45 to the gallon and is 140 Bhp and shitloads of torque. _________________________ P.Allison fixer of big engines Mk2+Mk2a signed by God / Hacked by the Lord Aberdeen Scotland
