I know I will be able to order a different color for the front panel but I wondering about the following:

- Will my empeg come in the standard color with an extra panel or will the different panel already be in place?
- If I change car and need to change the panel, is it something that need sending the empeg back or can I do it myself?

As a side comment which color works best in a BMW (I have an M3)? I seem to remember the new red should be the one...

Thanks,
-D

The player will come prefitted with whatever colour you order. With the Mark 2 there will be no difference in price for each of the variations.

The new red panel should be a good match for your BMW dash.

Cool... what if I change cars? Is changing the front panel something I can do myself or would I have to send the unit back?

I will NOT buy an empeg if I can not change the front panel myself or at the very least make it a config.ini option.

(Just kidding Rob and Stan... don't take my name off the list!! :o)

At the moment it is - with the Mark 2 we've made some changes to the front panel, but it will probably still be a user upgrade.

If Mike can implement a config.ini option to change the display colour I'll buy him lunch.

We're conveniently going to the Wrestlers for lunch today so lets see...

Hmm, I can make it change from green to black, blue to black and amber to black. I think that counts. Hmm, I'll have Chicken Chow Mein I think. :)

He didn't specify which colour(s); I think you're due some lunch!

..but I gave you a great menu recommendation. Can't beat a bit of Chicken Tom Ka, and it's not my fault you ate that chilli whole.
