Is there a way to add people to your Distribution List (group) who doesn not have a mailbox and is not a recipient in your address book?

thanks

Greetings!

I am pretty sure you can. Are you allowed to add a custom recipient to your GAL?

I have more personal practice with E2K than 5.5, but I work in a group that does both for a rather large installation (70K+ users). I will find out more in the morning when I can talk to our directory guru.

Yes, the Custom recipient is the way to do this. Create a new custom recipient in your GAL with only an SMTP address. When listed they will have a little globe next to their alias.

Alternatively, just type the email address raw into one of the boxes on the RHS (assuming you're using Outlook).

Exactly! That was the answer I heard.
