Nope, not asking for one, giving one.

Echigo Restaurant

The best sushi I've had to date. One of the people I ate with this evening said it was on par with the top rated sushi bar in LA (can't remember the name of it). This was my second trip to the place, both times the sushi was melt-in-your-mouth fresh. Absolutely divine. It's a small place that hasn't attracted a lot of attention yet (except among those in the know). Prices are much lower than I expected -- lunch specials are $10. Dinner for 4 (chef's choice) came to $130 before tip, no drinks. They don't serve spicy rolls, or other "California sushi".

If you're ever in the area, stop in. If you're not in the area, it's worth the road trip.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm in LA at least once a year and will keep this in mind.

Around here, the best sushi is at a kosher place! That means no shell fish. The extremely high quality of the sushi makes up for it though.

Thanks. Heading to E3 tomorrow, and was planning on a Sushi dinner trip.
