tanstaafl. carpal tunnel Registered: 08/07/1999 Posts: 5544 Loc: Ajijic, Mexico	Is there some simple way to download and save YouTube videos? I have software that claims to do it (WM Recorder, Tunebite) but it doesn't. I think that they used to work, but did YouTube change their format or DRMs or something recently? drakino carpal tunnel Registered: 08/06/1999 Posts: 7868	Mostly adding this here for reference. http://clicktoflash.com/ - For Mac users, the plugin also offers the ability to play back and save videos from YouTube and Vimeo in H.264 form.

ricin veteran Registered: 19/06/2000 Posts: 1495 Loc: US: CA	I use youtube-dl regularly on my *nix machines without any issues. I've never tried it in Windows or OS X, but it should work just fine.
