Soup support, fair warning

Soup support, fair warning - 10/09/2002 12:48

Despite supporting soup playlists, the empeg does not support other kinds of soup. Particularly, it made a poor support for the corn chowder I inadvertantly sat on it and then spilled partly in it.

After a good cleaning it seems to be fine, but the soup support is bad, and if you must support soup, a thick, creamy soup seems to be the best kind.

I think corn is great everywhere... except in my beverages, and my empeg.

High fructose corn syrup gives me indigestion. This means bottled and canned Coke from the U.S. sucks. Thanks so much, ADM. Sugar coke, from a fountain, another country, or "kosher for passover" is fine.

I went so far as to buy a soda fountain for my house. I just need to install it.

My soda fountain came from that purveyor of all that is wrong with the world: EBay. It cost more to ship than to buy.

oh wow!
If you live in the US and cannot take High Fructose Corn Syrup then you must be in bad shape. That stuff is in everything, even something that is not sweet.
My theory is that HFCS is actually a mind control drug used by the government. It is in so many products there can be no other explanation
I just crack up at some foods that list HFCS, corn syrup and sugar in the ingredient list. Of course this proves my theory.

I "can take" HFCS, it just causes indigestion in many cases.

It's not in everything, thank god. I haven't had any high fructose corn syrup in nearly 3 or 4 years.

Wow! then your mind must have started clearing by now !
How do you find enough food to eat? But I suppose eating nothing fresh fruit, veg and real meat will help to avoid it.
Don't worry, they will find another food product to get the drugs into

Most fresh fruit has fructose in it

It's not HFCS but guess what? It still can give me indigestion in sufficient quantity.

LOL. I avoid high fructose corn syrup for medical reasons. Trust me, it's entirely possible!

all humor aside, are there any resources out there for those folks who are intolerant of HFCS? Or is it down to scanning the ingredient lists?
