UK Price?

Looks like one of my two spares is going to a friend, as its just gathering dust and I know he will take good care of it.

We just need to agree a fair price, and I'm out of touch with what they are going for.

Its a Boxed never installed Mk2a, 10GB, blue screen, powered on once when it arrived, and once last night to check its ok.

What would be a fair UK price?

I would say about £350

But since it is going to a friend and you know it will be going to a good home, about £300 if only for the joy you know it will bring him.

Thought they were more up towards £500.

Perhaps not worth letting it go.

£500 for a 60gb with tuner perhaps. I sold a 10gb on here for £350 and offers were not really forthcoming.

Hmmm, have some spare drives, so could upgrade it to 60GB.

Didn't want to crack open the warrenty tag though in case that affected resale value.

I suppose about £400 would be the going rate for a 60gb.

Sounding worth me selling then.

Will chat with friend and see if he is ok with me opening it up.

As the warranty will be expired, I wouldn't think it'll be a problem. Just don't break your vfd nipple! And watch the capacitor on the vfd board or you'll be getting £100 for it instead!
