FS: 30GB Mark2A - Never installed

I purchased this unit in May 2002 and never installed it. It's in great condition, and has seen < 100 hours of use in my house, hooked up to my home stereo. It has the blue face, and will ship in the original box with all the original shipping items, including: styfoam box inserts, serial cable, ac power cable, manual, remote, and car docking sled. The unit's serial number is 30102916.

I can post pictures to my website if anyone wants to see the unit. I'd like to get $600 + shipping.

Has the bottom dropped out of the market now ? I saw two 10Gb models on ebay recently that received no bids at all at just under $500.

From my completely non-scientific from-memory-and-instinct analysis I reckon that pricing is $400 for a 10GB Mk2a, +$50 per 10GB, -$50 if it is a Mk2, +/- $50 random market fluctuation.
Not enough Mk1s come up for sale to really know how much the pricing differs. One the one hand they are more limited in memory and functionality, but on the other hand they have some sentimental appeal.

Is anyone interested in purchasing my empeg for $475? Does that sound like too much? Somebody make me an offer.

Dang, compared to the $750 I paid for my two 30 gig's over a year ago, this price seems good. Almost makes me wish I waited to buy my empeg..... NAH!

Actually, makes me think my $750 30 gig spare is going to be unsellable in the very near future. Guess I need to buy another car to put it in!
