RioCar for sale - 02/11/2003 15:04
I have a RioCar player that I've used for about 1 year. Just bought a new car and it doesn't have anywhere to mount the player. Unit works fine and I have the mounting frame, carrying case, remote, etc.
I'd be willing to sell, don't see any for sale on eBay..what's a fair price for a used RioCar unit?
thanks,
David

Don't do it! I sold one of my empegs. The money was nice, but now I can't give one to my dad (not that I would, but I don't have that option anymore).
My NIB 20GB sold for 650 last december, I think it was a good deal at the time. You should be able to get anywhere from 600-750 depending on current demand and options.
I knoiw I wouldn't sell my units for anything less than 1,200 at the moment. There just arent any units that compare to the empeg. A music Keg would be close, but not anywhere near as fun. I would stronly suggest finding someone who works in plastics or metals and have them make an adapter for your car.
Even at 2 years old, my DVD in-dash sportin' bmw club friends still freak about how cool it looks, and how good it sounds. don't give it up. Burning CDs is LAME.
