Selling my Rio central and receiver

Selling my Rio central and receiver - 09/10/2003 14:56

I am selling my rio central and my rio receiver. They both work perfectly well and are less than 6 months old. I am using the Tivo home theater option now so I can stream my MP3s from my mac to my tivo and stereo. The hard drive has about 7000 songs on it which you could keep or erease. I don't have the box, but I have all the cables and instructions.
<br>I know you can get a new one for 500 bucks... but with the receiver and all the included music, I am asking 700 with insured shipping included... email me with any offer tho I have no room for it anymore.

You might want to erase that hard drive before you sell it on a public forum. You can do what you want...it's merely a suggestion.

I think this might be a legal grey area. If I could get in trouble then screw that, I'll reformat it. Any offers out there? I dropped the 700 and am going for my best offer.

I think this might be a legal grey area.

Nothing grey about it at all. Unless you transfer ownership of the original CDs along with the Central (and you don't keep any other copies), you'll definitely be violating copyright.

Even then, you might not be safe -- I don't actually know if the "license" in CDs is transferrable.
