FS: 20GB Empeg Mk2a/RioCar with problems

Ok...after months of problems and no time/money to fix it, I am selling my RioCar.

I have purchased and received the button kit and lens kit but haven't installed the buttons.

The player is saying No Hard Disk Found: Contact Support.

If you want it, make me a reasonable offer and it is yours...No rush.

This is probably an incredibly easy fix. Read the FAQ where it talks about that exact message.

I think this player has a history.. Search is your friend. I wonder if the (internal) PSU is flakey, or perhaps external power spikes are an issue?

Not sure...but I am not going to invest in this anymore...And yes, this player does have a history, but the screen seems to be working fine as well as the Hard Drive itself. It is something with the board or power supply or something??

It also comes with a docking sled...maybe 2 if I can remove the one that I had in my old car and keep it relatively good condition.
