Broken Mk2a and Tuner - Free to good home in UK pref.

My Empeg stopped working a couple of years ago - I seem to recall that the IDE connector had started to come away from the board again...

In any case, I intended fixing it, but it's been sat in the garage all this time. A very damp, stinky garage. Maybe it'll never work again... And there's a tuner with it too. I'm not proud of myself, okay

It's free to anyone who wants it.

I'm based in Wales and currently work north of Birmingham so could deliver to anyone in that part of the UK.

If the HDD is still in one piece and you manage to get the player working, I'd really like a copy of all the music on the drive before you wipe it please ...

Great deal for UK folks -- the tuner alone is worth more than 50 quid, and the empeg sounds quite (easily) fixable (worth perhaps 60 quid as is, or more than double that fixed).

I don't know if this is more appealing to you AJ but I'll be atttending a show at Catton Hall Country Park, Nr. Lichfield (just north of Birmingham, right?) this weekend from midday Friday 1st Aug until Sunday 3rd Aug.
Alternatively, I'm in S. Wales at Margam Park Nr. Port Talbot from Friday 15th Aug to sunday 17th Aug.

I'll have the family in tow so my flexibility will be somewhat limited both weekends, I just want to give you some (potentially) more convenient options for passing it on.

FWIW, our Port Talbot (S.Wales) plans have almost certainly changed. We should be leaving a day later (Friday 15th Aug to Monday 18th Aug).
