FS: 30GB, New In Box, $399+ship - 06/02/2002 17:28

Hello everyone,

I ordered a unit from Sonic|Blue, and after cancelling the order, it showed up to my house. Now I have two, and as much as I'd like to keep the second one, I can't afford it.

I'd really like to avoid yet another call to customer support, so I thought I'd try to offer it here first...

Everything is still in the box, and ready to be shipped. Let me know if you are interested, and thanks for your time.

Scott

when you're right you're right. i'm tempted to keep it as a backup, but i still have to buy another head unit and have the amp / 2 heads installed....

... and by the way, thanks to you, i now have a lomo, too. warning: knowing loren causes money to depart from your wallet. heh.

Just wait til i get you to fly one of my kites!!! Then you can kiss another few hundred goodbye... as Ryan can attest too. =]

So why do you need another head unit AND an amp?!

i don't have a tuner, and i'd like to have one available for the cross country drive back to sf, and for some of the heated banter on KGO. i wish i would have been able to pick one up, but for the price they are going for on ebay, i may as well put in a cd head for less money and to keep that option.....

if it were up to me, i'd just get a tuner and install that and be done with it!

Well, if you wanna wait for the possibility of a new tuner manufacturing run happening, you could just plug a cheap hand held radio into the AUX in of the empeg. Just a thought. Not to mention, i guarantee that once you get the empeg installed, you won't listen to the radio as much as you think. I've used my tuner 3 times since installing it months ago, Once to see if it worked, and twice for weather updates.

I was the same - wen't from continual radio listening in the car to almost never. But Beta11 gives me TA, TP and AF which in the UK slightly overrun the traffic reports and announcements so I'm being sucked back in by snippets of radio shows:)

Have seen a fair amount of traffic in tuner modules on ebay and other places, all seem to move quite fast so perhaps there is the demand for a new manufacturing run.
