I'm sure that can't be good for the regulation of the 12V line!
I think that it's fine to have a cool looking case but sometimes it's just getting stupid. Cutting a hole in the top of your HD and then fitting a perspex window into it is one of them.

Of course, if you had an old CDROM drive you didn't care about, you might be able to retrofit the tray into an ash tray...

With this adapter kit, your PC can now do EVERYTHING a regular Cigarette Lighter can with no trouble at all. Charge cell phones, power cd players, you name it.
...but it doesn't actually mention lighting cigarettes with it.
