Real time flight information

Hello,

The G/F is going to america today and I wondered if there existed a website which tracked the current position of commercial air traffic over the US and beyond? I had a quick look but have so far turned up nothing that doesn't require me to pay an arm and a leg.

No! I hate flying, I'm always convinced the plane will crash. Therefore when the love of my life is on a plane then I start worrying by proxy. It just seems reassuring to see the little plane plodding along the screen, if it disappears in the middle of the atlantic then I'll start screaming.

Thanks for that, sadly I can't use the graphical version because of my companies web proxy appears to be interfereing with the java applet used on the page.
