Can Terminal Server be added on to NT 4?

My main file server is running "Windows NT 4.0 Server" right now and it's extremely stable and has been very carefully configured. For remote control, I'm running PC Anywhere, not exactly sure which version, perhaps 8 or 9.

I've been messing with the terminal services client under 2000 against a test Win2K server, and it really impresses me, working orders of magnitude faster and smoother than PC Anywhere does. But I'm not ready to alter the OS on my NT4 server at this time.

Does anyone know if the terminal services stuff can be added to NT4 Server without having to re-install the operating system?

Terminal Services in NT4 was a seperate and distinct product
- so called Windows NT4.0 - Terminal Server Edition - which is why some folks still call WTS, "TSE" from the abbreviation.

As this was a complete new OS, with seperate disks, no, there is no easy way to upgrade a NT4.0 system to NT4.0-TSE.

Yes I agree Terminal Services in W2K is much better than anything else.
However, NT4.0 TSE is not as good - it has limitations that W2K Terminal Services doesn't.

Oh well. I'll hang out with PC Anywhere for a while then.

Ever tried Dameware? For admin purposes, that program really kicks ass.
