You know that feeling.... - 05/06/2003 23:49

...you get when the thing you've been working on for the last three months finally does what it's supposed to do?

That rules.

And just in time for annual review, too!

At one time, yes... Lately, I only know that feeling from the memories of memories of having that feeling... Needless to say, Monster.com has been at the top of my bookmark list lately.

Is it anything like when the mother of your Child, who's done nothing but lie, cheat and reject you for 4 years, finally walks out for good... Making you feel like you couldn't be any smaller, then finally after trying for 3 months to cope with all the depression you meet a beautiful (indescribably so) Italian woman with softest lips on the planet whom you experience a chemistry you've never experienced with any other woman in your life, you talk for hours and everything clicks. Then suddenly all the feelings of smallness go away because she's frickin hot, and she really likes you, and you feel it because every time she's near you theres a magnetism between you? You know someone that turns you into a moronic adolescent that does nothing but smile all the time, thinking of when you'll see her again.... Anything like that? Sorry, personal victory, had to share

Uh... not quite that good. I'd be willing to trade my feeling for yours. Well... okay... just the last half, anyway.

Yeah I do (and congrats). I spent the last 3 months studying my butt off for a CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) certification test. Took it this morning, and though I won't have the results for a few weeks, I'm pretty certain I did well!
