The hotdog is among the top ten items found in many lists concerning choking occurrences in young children. Pediatricians recommend slicing a hotdog linearly. The method of slicing a hotdog linearly can reduce the chances of choking during consumption.Okay, that's reasonable.
Until you consider that they only cut about two third of the frankfurter. Apparently, the risk goes down for one of the ends. Make sure you insert the proper end or the risk of choking will not abate!
