Long shot... - 15/06/2005 17:06

I've been looking for a soundtrack for about 10 years now, and thought I'd post a note to see if anyone had it here.

I don't know if this would be considered piracy, as I don't believe this album is for sale anywhere that I can find. If anyone is offended by my request, please let me know, and I'll delete this thread.

The soundtrack is from the movie Dead Calm. It's a guy named "Tim O'Connor" and his album is "Run Over By Love". I think there were 2 songs from this CD in the movie - "Who Stole the Isopropyl Alcohol" and "Wounded Love"...

Does anyone have this either on CD or MP3?

Do you know if it actually was ever produced at all? They don't always make soundtrack albums to go with movies.

For instance, there was never a soundtrack album for Ferris Bueller's Day Off, folks on the web had to get together and assemble one of their own.

I am not sure about a soundtrack album, but the Tim O'Connor album was produced. I am trying to google more about it now. Much of the material is floating around, but I have not seen the album available yet. You might want to check out Tim O'Connor's web site to see if he still has some to sell, or has links to available copies.

I was about to post the same response, too.

Haha. Sorry - forgot that I had posted that. You guys have amazing memories!

My search has been fruitless. I'll try emailing Mr. O'Connor and see if he can sell me a copy...

Once again, I couldn't find it on any of my usual sources. GEMM has a listing for pretty much everything, and it's not there (well, there's some group called Dead Calm).

Good luck with your search!
