London is now the new home. Looks like I'll be hanging out for a month or so before the traveling begins again. What's traditional to do over the holidays? We're going to take in a Panto and do Christmas dinner at one of the hotels. What are the New Year's parties at the clubs like? SWMBO has decided that a costume party would be fun. Advice, alternatives, and ideas would be most appreciated.

Awesome! How close to The City ?

Now that you've most likely mastered some French, you'll have to learn English!

Tube-able - West of Kensington Park.

Being in an English speaking country again will take some getting used to. I find I cannot filter our random conversations anymore. I hear english from the table next to me and I get sucked in.

If you are going to do panto, make sure it is Aladdin at the Old Vic. It stars Ian McKellan, yes Gandalf, as Widow Twankey.

We saw it last year and it was brilliant, he has incredibly good legs for a man of his age...

Yup that's the one but looks like I'll have to be out of town. My girlfriend and friends will tell me all about it I'm sure.
