Need help to identify IC/driver - 02/06/2006 17:28

I have found a failde chip in a sidewinder joystick. The first line on the chip says 3004 and the second line says 0D3. It is a 8-pin SMD IC and drives an electric motor in the force feedback system.

I need some pointers to where to look. Thanks!

Looks like my brother cracked the case. It is a FET and it is going by the name of HAT3004, widely used to controll electric RC-motors.

The neat thing about this BBS is that you don't have to actually get a response in order to solve your problem.
